Assyriska introduces its last player for this season. David Gutierrez Arvidsson signed for the club a few weeks ago and was just recently available to play.
David arrived earlier this Summer from the USA where he played for Long Island University men´s soccer team for the past three years. He played for Utsiktens BK in Goteborg in 2014 before moving to the USA. He was formed in the IFK Gothenburg Academy for 10 years between 2005-2014 and made hsi debut with the IFK Goteborg´s First team in February 2014 at the Marbella Cup.
"It feels amazing. The transfer went very fast and the impression I got from the club and the coach has been very positive," said David Gutierrez Arvidsson.
"I come to Assyriska primarily as a left wing back but I can play in other positions if required. I hope to contribute with calmness in the defense, increase the internal competition in the squad and hopefully help the team to win matches. I expect that we can continue scoring points so we end at the top of the table where AFF belongs", Gutierrez Arvidsson concludes.
Assyriska´s sports Director Bobil Minasson gives the following comment: "David is a weel educated foootball player from the IFK Goteborg Academy. He has a skilled left foot and has a good comprehension of the game. David arrives late in the season and will start competing seriously to get a spot in the squad during this Autumn. David has signed for the rest of the season and his cost will be financed externally. David Gutierrez Arvidsson is warmly welcomed to Assyriska FF.
